It's hard to pick just one thing for "our problems mainly come from this!", because of course it isn't just one thing... but the fear *even from most conservatives* to articulate a positive vision of masculinity and femininity is certainly a big problem. I've commented before that *even in good churches*, when you get to, say, a Bible passage about the wife submitting to her husband, sometimes it feels like 80% of the sermon is about what the passage does NOT mean. Where is the positive vision, then? Have some courage leaders.

Quite possibly you’ve gotten to one of the roots, leaders lacking courage. Which brings to question, can someone be a leader if they lack courage? Shouldn’t that be a prerequisite? Too many who claim that mantle continuously falter in defense of truth, at least of his convictions, in the face of contempt or screeching opposition.
