I think you're on to it about the changing seasons, longer afternoon shadows, and the first turning of leaves (at least here in Minnesota) that urges contemplation. Time marches on. You are special to many – your family I’m sure & the people who look forward to reading your essays that you have yet to physically meet. Your essays are much more than rambling written thoughts. Your writings are like a deep mine with veins of gold that reaches into the subliminal core of the human experience. We sincerely appreciate the little gems you share. We are all richer for your time & efforts.

This landed on me with a thud. Any normal person should see himself in it. Both eye and object. Jenna, as long as there is sense to be made, and a soul to wrangle it, I expect you to do it. If you stop, why, so help me .. you just better not.
